How
you can help restore Belmont
The
Belmont Trust relies on the assistance of its Friends
and Sponsors both for funding the project
and in helping with practical work. To become involved
with this exciting project please contact
us. Although we have raised the money to restore Belmont
externally we need to raise upwards of £600,000
to restore the fine interior and the surrounding gardens
and designed
landscape.
You can assist by becoming a Friend of Belmont
or by making a donation; please contact us for further
information. We are greatly encouraged by the numerous
individual Friends and Supporters who have donated sums
from £5
to £1000. During 2004 and 2005 a number of successful
weekends on site started the long task of restoring
the boundary
walls
and completed
the task of clearing the house. We recording, stored
and catalogued all the loose interior elements and
furniture.
